Job summary

Akkodis Singapore is seeking an experienced C++ Software Developer to join a global engineering team. You will perform hands-on development, integration, debugging and troubleshooting in Linux/Unix environments on complex software systems.

The ideal candidate has strong C++ development skills, solid fundamentals in OO design, and experience with software testing, Git and build tools. Willingness to travel to Europe roughly every two months for up to two weeks per trip.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience with strong C++.
• Solid object-oriented programming and software development principles.
• Experience with Linux/Unix, debugging and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and maintain C++ applications.
• Translate requirements into robust software solutions.
• Develop and debug in Linux/Unix environments.
• Perform software integration, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
