Job description

BG&E is an international design consultancy with offices in Australia, the Middle East, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Our engineering services incorporates designs for infrastructure, building, structures, civil engineering, facades and construction support.

As a Senior C&S Engineer, you will be working closely with Directors in our Singapore office, to manage the delivery of projects. You will be experienced in structural engineering as it relates to buildings and infrastructure, including permanent and temporary works and will have the organizational skills necessary to independently complete variety of design projects. You will be responsible for the management of project budgets and resources. You will also be responsible for the management of proposals for securing future work.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering accepted by Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB)
• At least 12 years or more relevant experience in the design of structures or civil infrastructure. Experience in the delivery of industrial/commercial projects in Singapore essential.
• Proficient in software such as MIDAS, SPACE GASS, STAAD.PRO, ETABS, Prokon, AutoCAD, PLAXIS
• Knowledge and experience of Eurocodes standards and practices
• Proven ability to liaise with stakeholders internally and externally
• Strong communication skills, teamwork and self-motivation
• Ability to assist in the development of the business and mentor junior colleagues
• Commercial awareness, financial and technical reporting ability
• PE certification or Engineer Chartership is a plus
