Job summary

MINDTECK SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking an experienced C++/Qt Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Passenger Information Systems (PIS) software for rail and transportation. The role focuses on high-performance HMI applications, passenger displays, operator interfaces, CCTV monitoring, and diagnostic tools built with C++, Qt, QML, and Qt Widgets.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in C++ and Qt for software development.
• Hands-on experience with QML and Qt Widgets for HMI development.
• Experience with distributed or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows-based development environments.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Passenger Information System software using C++ and Qt Framework.
• Develop rich and responsive HMI applications using QML and Qt Widgets.
• Create software for passenger displays, route maps, CCTV monitoring, and operator interfaces.
• Design scalable, modular architectures for distributed systems.
• Debug, optimize, and maintain software throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with System Engineering, Hardware, V&V, and other teams.
• Participate in design and code reviews and enforce coding standards.
