Responsibilities
- Lead software quality assurance across internal project teams and manage QA resources to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Collaborate with QA and automation engineers through Agile development cycles across platforms and products.
- Review and improve test strategies to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate testing activities including System Testing, Integration, End-to-End, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Maintain strong cross-functional communication to support needs analysis, requirements gathering, and planning.
- Work with vendors, technical, business, and operations teams to support testing outcomes.
- Align test schedules, environments, and data across multiple teams.
- Review test plans, results, risk analysis, and release documentation.
- Identify and resolve constraints, dependencies, and risks; support teams and document meetings.
- Prepare UAT and End-to-End test scenarios and cases.
- Manage various test phases for cash and payment systems: regression, integration, functional, E2E, and automation.
- Maintain test libraries and documentation.
- Support SIT and UAT teams, clarify requirements, and assist with test execution.
- Record and manage defects using tracking tools; elevate as needed.
- Prepare regular test result reports and lead defect management activities.
- Utilize testing tools such as XRAY and JIRA.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of total experience, with 5–7 years in test leadership roles related to payment systems and cash management applications.
- Strong knowledge of payment systems including Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, and Automated Clearing House programs.
- Familiarity with payment formats and standards such as ISO20022, SEPA, and SWIFT.
- Experience with various payment products: TT, RTGS, LVP, Payroll, Cheque, DD, Cashier Order, Mass & Bulk payments.
- Proficient in UAT, E2E, Functional, and System Integration testing for banking and financial applications.
- Experience in areas such as Retail, Wholesale, Corporate Banking, International & Domestic Payments, Payment Hub/Factory, Correspondent Banking, ACH, Real-Time Payments, Cash & Liquidity Management, Compliance/AML, FX, and Messaging (SWIFT/ISO).
- Functional testing experience in GPP-SP (Global PayPlus – Service Platform) is mandatory.
