Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join a major Southeast Asian investment bank's Prime Brokerage program in Singapore. You will shape a robust platform spanning cash, securities lending, margin financing, and collateral management, aligning front-to-back trade lifecycles with business needs.

In this role you’ll gather requirements, model processes, and document solutions while coordinating with Front Office, Risk, Operations and Technology.

Qualifications

• 7–12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within investment banking, capital markets, or financial services.
• Strong functional knowledge of Prime Brokerage, Equity Financing, Securities Lending, or related Prime Services.
• Good understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle for cash equities and equity-linked products.
• Experience with margin, collateral, financing, positions, settlements, or stock lending workflows.
• Proven experience delivering complex technology initiatives in an investment banking environment.
• Strong requirements gathering, process-modelling, and functional-documentation skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Prime Brokerage capabilities across cash and synthetic Prime Brokerage.
• Handle equity financing, securities lending, and margin lending workflows.
• Manage collateral optimization, margin calls, and financing charges.
• Oversee trade capture, allocation, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Produce client reporting, portfolio valuation, and P&L.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology.
• Apply Agile practices; use Jira and Confluence for delivery.

Our client (one of the largest investment banks in Southeast Asia) is entering the Prime brokerage service offering area. Primary objective is to build a robust platform from ground up to support the business needs of the prime brokering business domain.

Responsibilities

• Support business capabilities across Prime Brokerage, including:
• Cash and synthetic Prime Brokerage
• Equity financing and margin lending
• Securities lending and borrowing
• Short-selling and stock borrow/loan workflows
• Collateral management and optimization
• Margin calculations, margin calls, and financing charges
• Trade capture, allocation, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
• Corporate actions and their impact on client positions
• Client reporting, portfolio valuation, and P&L
• Understand the interaction between Prime Brokerage, Equity Trading, Delta One, Risk, Treasury, and Operations.
• Analyze end-to-end trade and position lifecycles, including exception management and downstream processing.
