Job summary

AbbVie Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a skilled Biologics Production Specialist to perform cGMP manufacturing operations in the biologics facility, ensure accurate batch documentation, and support process improvements.

You will operate upstream and downstream steps, maintain clean room standards, and troubleshoot with senior staff during shifts, while coaching junior biotechnologists and upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree education with at least 5 years of experience working in Biologics Production facility or equivalent.
• Minimally 3+ years prior experience in large scale GMP purification manufacturing.
• Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
• Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
• Comfortable working in clean room environments.
• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments with high learning agility.
• Rotating shift work is required.

Responsibilities

• Executes upstream/downstream manufacturing operations as part of the production process.
• Operates equipment cleaning and setup for stream-specific tasks.
• Uses DeltaV, SAP and MES for process control and data entry.
• Adheres to SHE safety requirements and reports incidents.
• Coaches and trains junior biotechnologists in area of expertise.
• Assists lead in planning production schedule and leading area activities.
