Job summary

National Cancer Centre Singapore is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to commission, maintain, and repair diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. You will support the supervisor in implementing the department's equipment management and assist with ad-hoc projects.

The role requires a degree in Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent and at least 2 years of healthcare-related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Well informed of new biomedical equipment technology.
• Initiative to carry out projects and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Commission and verify safety/performance of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions by repairs or part replacements.
• Manage in-house maintenance data, reports, and analytics.
• Identify trends and implement corrective actions for safety.
• Prepare and present investigation reports to management.
• Liaise with stakeholders to develop specs and evaluate bids.
• Plan and execute project management and coordinate with vendors.
