Job summary

Hibob Inc. seeks a Senior BIM Engineer to lead the creation and maintenance of BIM templates and models across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines. You will produce AutoCAD 2D/3D and Revit drawings, ensuring quality and QMS compliance while supporting bids and site activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, 10+ years in plant design, and strong Revit and BIM tools proficiency. Effective communication and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of plant design experience.
• Extensive experience in Revit.
• Excellent technical drawing skills.
• Strong communication and project management.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks, Advance Steel, Inventor is an added advantage.
• Interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and support project team.
• Experience in water treatment industry is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Produce AutoCAD 2D, 3D & Revit BIM drawings.
• Create and maintain BIM models for Architectural, Structural & MEP disciplines.
• Produce schematic, isometric, details, layout & section drawings.
• Guide project members on BIM usage and standards.
• Manage project timeline with project members.
• Liaise with consultant teams for problem solving.
• Produce technical / construction drawings using BIM.
• Perform clash analysis and generate clash-free models.
• Check drawings and models for quality.
• Knowledge of Revit MEP is essential.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior BIM Engineer. The role is responsible for managing and maintaining engineering drawing templates, ensuring compliance with quality standards and QMS requirements, preparing mechanical design drawings, and developing AutoCAD drawings, including P&IDs, schematics, GA drawings, isometrics, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings. The position also supports bidding activities, project execution, and site surveys.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in plant design.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Revit.
• Excellent technical drawing skills.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks, Advance Steel, and Inventor is an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong creative and visualization skills.
• Ability to work independently and support the project team.
• Experience in the water treatment industry and water & wastewater treatment projects will be an added advantage.

Job responsibilities

• Able to produce AutoCAD 2D, 3D & Revit (BIM Drawings).
• Responsible for technical project drawing, create, maintain or amend BIM models of different disciplines (Architectural, Structural & MEP).
• Able to Produce Schematic, Isometric, Details, Layout & Section Drawings Guide project members on the usage of BIM and BIM standards, implementation, usage and adoption of BIM for construction operations.
• Manage and monitor project timeline with project members.
• Liaise with consultant teams for problem solving.
• To produce technical / construction drawings using BIM.
• To perform clash analysis and generate free clash model.
• To perform checks to ensure drawings and models are good.
• Knowledge of, and proven practical background in, Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modelling software. Especially in Revit MEP.
