About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Architect with a rare blend of advanced BI expertise and emerging AI integration capabilities. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in delivering enterprise-grade analytics solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Fabric, while also demonstrating a strong understanding of AI-powered analytics (e.g., AI-driven insights, natural language queries, predictive dashboards). This is a high-impact role where you will drive data democratization, intelligent decision-making, and future-proof analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and deploy scalable dashboards and semantic models using Power BI and Tableau
- Leverage AI and ML-powered features (e.g., Smart Narratives, Cognitive Services, AutoML, Copilot in Power BI) to enhance business insights
- Build and manage Microsoft Fabric components including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory Gen2, and Direct Lake
- Develop robust DAX and SQL logic for complex calculations, KPIs, and data transformations
- Optimize performance, implement governance frameworks, and manage CI/CD pipelines via tools like ALM Toolkit, Tabular Editor, and Git
- Lead AI-enhanced BI initiatives, such as NLP-based querying, anomaly detection, and forecasting models
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across finance, sales, and operations to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions
- Provide training and mentorship to analysts and business users, enabling self-service AI-powered BI.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics
- Deep expertise in Power BI (including Semantic Models, Paginated Reports) and Tableau (Desktop/Server/Cloud)
- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric and modern data stack components
- Hands-on in AI integration with BI tools – e.g., using Power BI Copilot, Smart Narratives, Q&A visual, AutoML, or integrating OpenAI APIs
- Advanced skills in DAX, SQL, and Tableau LOD Expressions
- Proven experience with data modeling (Star/Snowflake), ETL, incremental refresh, and composite models
- Strong knowledge of governance, DevOps for BI, and enterprise-grade dashboard design
- Experience across multiple domains like finance, sales, marketing, and operations
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced UX in dashboards (e.g., predictive visuals, conversational BI)
Desirable (Bonus) Skills
- Knowledge of Python for AI/ML notebooks in Fabric
- Exposure to AutoML models, Azure Cognitive Services, or OpenAI GPT APIs
- Experience with RLS/OLS, KPI frameworks, usage monitoring, and cost optimization
- Certification in Power BI, Tableau, or Microsoft Fabric
