Job summary

Synapxe seeks a Business Intelligence Developer to design and implement analytics content based on Cogito analysts’ specifications. You will build reports and dashboards from relational data sources, leveraging SQL to create custom metrics and ensure data integrity.

You will also review and modify existing reports and participate in testing and deployment activities. With 2–5 years of IT systems experience, you will collaborate with process analysts to translate business needs into actionable

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering, physics, computer sciences, math, information systems, or statistics.
• At least 2–5 years’ experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Critical thinking and an analytical mind.
• Technically proficient in analytical database platforms.
• Familiarity with Epic applications and database structure, through training.
• Proficiency with SQL, relational databases and report writing tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Cogito Process Analysts and SMEs to understand data needs.
• Identify and review suitable solutions for reporting needs.
• Create reports/dashboards to present data from Clarity to users.
• Write SQL for custom metrics.
• Modify existing reports as needed.
• Review peer reports for validity.
• Test report builds in specified environments.
• Review upgrade docs for Clarity features and implement changes.
• Build universes, cubes, extracts, and third‑party tools as needed.
• Provide Go-live and Command Centre support to other integration systems.
