Job summary

Reolink in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Developer / Senior Backend Engineer to design and develop core system components, focusing on performance and scalability. You will own end-to-end development, work with Java-based applications, and collaborate with regional teams to deliver reliable security solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in Java software development, strong CS fundamentals, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and open-source frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Software Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of software development experience (Java) preferred.
• Strong understanding of OS, networks, data structures, and algorithms.
• Cloud platforms AWS and Azure experience.
• Familiarity with Kafka, RocketMQ, Dubbo, Zookeeper, Redis.
• Deep knowledge of MySQL including schema design and SQL optimization.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of design, development, refactoring and performance optimization of core system components.
• Research, design and implement solutions for high-concurrency scenarios.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions for scalability and availability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with local and regional teams and promote technical excellence.
