Job summary

DHC Partners in Singapore seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Backend, to drive the development of Digital Surgery applications, collaborating with ML engineers, designers, and product managers from concept to delivery.

You will deploy ML models across prototype, on-prem, and cloud environments, build scalable backend solutions using AWS services, and help define next‑generation features and system architecture in a fast-paced, customer‑focused setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with scalable distributed systems and APIs.
• 2+ years of Python experience and ML deployment in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, code reviews, testing, and operations.
• Experience with medical imaging or computer vision is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ML engineers, designers, marketing, and product managers from ideation to delivery.
• Deploy ML models across prototype, on-prem, and cloud environments.
• Develop scalable deployment solutions and select appropriate tech stacks for various environments.
• Own significant portions of the product and contribute to new features and architecture.
• Build quality backend software while maintaining operational excellence.
