Job summary

DBS is hiring a Sr./Assoc Backend Developer in Consumer Banking Technology to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. You will build RESTful APIs and deploy microservices on OpenShift/Kubernetes while leveraging Kafka for asynchronous processing.

You will collaborate with product owners and architects to translate requirements into robust solutions, ensuring performance, security, and reliability in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in designing and developing Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and related backend frameworks.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms, particularly Apache Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs and backend services to support digital banking platforms and enterprise applications.
• Design, build, and deploy microservices on OpenShift and Kubernetes-based environments.
• Implement event-driven processing using Apache Kafka and messaging frameworks.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance for reliability and resilience.
