Company / Role Overview

A leading international Financial Instituition is establishing a new high-net-worth (HNW) business entity and is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support the end-to-end technology and process buildout. Working closely with the head of the technology function, this role operates in a greenfield environment, driving structure, requirements, and alignment across business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis for a new HNW entity setup, covering front-to-back processes, data needs, and technology workflows.
  • Partner closely with technology leadership to translate conceptual architecture into clear requirements, functional designs, and actionable workstreams.
  • Define and map processes from scratch, ensuring operational readiness for a newly created business unit.
  • Engage business stakeholders—including HNW distribution and operational teams—to understand needs, pain points, and constraints.
  • Coordinate cross-team alignment across business, operations, and technology groups located in multiple markets.
  • Support documentation, traceability, and ongoing refinement of requirements as the programme evolves.
  • Act as an individual contributor who is comfortable being hands‑on in a lean team (≈5‑person setup).
Job Requirements
Must-Have:
  • 8–10+ years of Business Analysis experience within insurance technology or similar financial services environments.
  • Strong exposure to high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth insurance products, distribution, processes, or platforms.
  • Proven ability to build processes, requirements, and documentation from zero in a greenfield or early-stage setup.
  • Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders, demonstrating maturity, structured thinking, and ownership.
  • Strong understanding of technology concepts, solutioning discussions, and technical requirement translation (no coding required).
  • Experience collaborating with architecture teams or IT leadership on system design and process alignment.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working with distributed teams.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience supporting new entity launches, regulatory environments, or cross-border insurance structures.
  • Prior background in enterprise insurers with established HNW businesses.
