Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist for Audit and Assurance Services in Singapore. You will participate in financial, operational, IT and process audits, both domestically and overseas, leading small audit teams as needed and ensuring high-quality work within deadlines.

You will collaborate with colleagues and clients to complete audits, document findings, and present recommendations. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required.
• At least 3 years in internal audit, public accounting, or related fields.
• Experience with audit methodology and internal controls.
• Strong English communication and IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in executing financial, operational, SOX 404 and IT audits, domestically and abroad.
• Lead small audit teams with limited supervision.
• Partner with colleagues and clients to complete audit work.
• Execute audit programs and prepare work papers per quality standards.
• Draft audit summaries describing issues, risks and recommendations.
• Support department projects to achieve defined results.
