Job summary

MRI MOORES ROWLAND LLP is seeking a Senior Audit Associate in Singapore to operate in less standardised work contexts where changes are frequent. You will lead audit engagements, plan, perform, review work of junior staff, and ensure engagement quality and timely delivery for clients.

You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to understand business risks, obtain audit evidence, and communicate findings while upholding professional standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements of varying sizes, including planning, performing, reviewing, and concluding the engagement.
• Identify and react to unethical behaviour in line with ethical principles.
• Work with team members to execute the audit plan and ensure timely completion of engagements.
• Collaborate with clients and manage expectations while nurturing ongoing relationships.

Roles & Responsibilities

• The Senior Audit Associate operates in work contexts that are less standardised and unanticipated changes can be frequent due to changes in the external environment.
• He/She is able to identify unethical behaviour and react based on the applicable ethical principles.
• He/She is expected to team lead various sizes of audit engagements which include planning, performing, reviewing of audit work performed by a less experienced personnel and concluding the engagement.
• He/She works closely with team members to execute the audit plan and ensures the timely completion of the audit engagement.
• He/She also works closely with clients and manages their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships.
