Job summary

The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) is seeking a seasoned professional to own and drive key account engagement plans, grow investments, and achieve KPIs for Singapore's Chemicals and Materials sector. You will tailor bespoke solutions and collaborate across divisions to progress major investment opportunities.

You will analyse complex business drivers, engage stakeholders, and help shape sector strategy with strong B2B sales and project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years or more of relevant work experience.
• Experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development in B2B sales.
• Experience in Energy & Chemical industries is a plus.
• Ability to analyse complex issues and propose actionable solutions.
• Strong business sense and project management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; stakeholder engagement.

What you will be working on

• Be primarily responsible for owning, driving and developing key account engagement plans
• Grow the breadth and depth of investments made by your key accounts
• Achieve individual and team level investment and job creation KPIs
• Collaborate with internal divisions and external agencies to identify and progress investment project opportunities
• Develop bespoke solutions for key accounts
• Monitor and derive insights from company and executive interactions to help inform and shape sectorial strategy
• Understand deeply the various business drivers, business models and business strategies of key accounts

What we are looking for

• At least 3 years or more of relevant work experience
• Experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development in B2B sales or experience in Energy & Chemical industries will be an added advantage.
• Ability to analyse in-depth different complex issues and put forth actionable solutions
• A keen sense of business acumen and experience in project management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken; including ability and experience in engaging stakeholders
