As a Senior Associate, LS1 Engineering, you will be primarily responsible for performing specialized technical tasks and research to optimize machine performance. You will be expected to build effective and meaningful relationships with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
To oversee manufacturing processes and drive process and OEE improvement activities, through daily monitoring and long-term projects.
Deliver timely technical support during major operational downtime events to support a 24/7 manufacturing operations.
Manage documentation and compliance activities, including Change Requests, non-conformances, CAPEX, and procedure updates related to parts and equipment.
Provide technical support for equipment commissioning, optimization, and qualification/validation processes, including change management.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for critical equipment and processes, including audit support.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive technical improvements and operational efficiency.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, as well as quality and safety standards.
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
A degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Knowledge in Packaging, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation engineering
Demonstrated experience in managing projects and driving process improvements within advanced manufacturing settings.
Experience in handling equipment, electrical, or mechanical work is a desirable advantage.
Experience or familiarity with contact lens or optics manufacturing is advantageous, but not required.
