Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is looking for an administrative support professional to assist the Group Director of Academic Medicine. In this role, you will handle scheduling, communications, and support various administrative tasks, while ensuring smooth coordination of clinical and research commitments. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in Business Management, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Good command of English and strong organizational skills are essential.

Job description

You will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Group Director (GD), Academic Medicine. This includes scheduling of meetings, following up on the required approvals and emails and e-approvals in relation to the GD’s clinical administrator role. Such administrative and secretarial support shall also include the co‑ordination of the GD AM’s clinical and research commitments with clinics and relevant departments. You will act as primary point‑of‑contact for the Group Director within both SingHealth, Duke‑NUS Medical School and other external organisations.

Your secondary responsibility will be to assist the Strategy Planning and Performance Management team in areas of secretarial support, consolidation and basic analysis of data in Excel and preparation of meeting slides.

You will also be responsible for any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Diploma preferably in Business Management with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Preferably conversant in a second language or vernacular languages to be able to converse with staff of all backgrounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Meticulous and trustworthy team player
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
