Qualifications

Job description
Overview

Provision of operations and technical support for site HVAC & Utilities equipment, systems and related matters pertaining to routine operations, maintenance, and minor projects.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support start-up activities, commissioning, and handover of equipment & systems from project to users/operation.
  • Assist in drafting of GMP documents including SOPs, forms, etc.
  • Assist in investigations, change controls and CAPAs.
  • Operate/perform/coordinate routine corrective and preventive maintenance for HVAC & utilities equipment and systems (e.g., Chillers, cooling towers, Standby Generators, AHUs, FCUs, final/submain distribution boards, etc).
  • Oversee work performed by external service contractors for routine and non-routine maintenance.
  • Perform maintenance activities scheduling on demand.
  • Identify/rectify equipment problems and complete corrective maintenance in a safe, compliant, and timely manner without affecting operations.
  • Ensure all field operations, works and activities are executed in line with EHS and Quality Site Procedures and local Statutory Codes.
  • Execute and complete all works and relevant documentation with strict adherence to time and procedural requirements.
  • Be an advocate of EHS compliance and initiatives.
  • Where cGMP requirements apply, ensure deliverables meet GDP and internal Quality standards.
Requirements
  • Diploma in an Engineering discipline.
  • Preferably minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in managing contractors in cGMP facility operations.
  • Preferred experience in cGMP requirements for HVAC, Utilities and Maintenance.
  • Must have experience in operating/maintaining rotating equipment.
  • Experience in setting up maintenance systems for brown field sites will be advantageous.
  • Willing to learn and continuously improve.
  • Be a good team player and be able to manage vendors.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience within healthcare sector will be an added advantage.
  • Comply to NUH safety practices and standard operating procedures.
