Job description

This role reports to Manager, Digital Forensics. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the Digital Forensics & Investigation team. The team assists law firms and corporations to recover the valuable digital 'audit trail' and conduct forensic analysis to ensure that all crucial evidence is available to support an investigation or a legal case. The team also conducts commercial investigations for business owners in a wide range of situations such as suspected industrial espionage, copyright infringement and fraud.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide end-to-end consulting services to clients in relation to Digital Forensics & Investigations.
  • Develop and implement digital forensic policies and procedures to ensure investigations are conducted in compliance with legal requirements, industry standards and best practices.
  • Project manage and oversee the execution of digital forensic investigations from start to finish. Train resources to conduct forensic collection and analysis, as well as eDiscovery end-to-end processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of digital forensic analysis by implementing quality measures.
  • Conduct forensic analysis and ensure they are comprehensive, accurate and clearly presented for presentation to clients and senior management.
  • Manage project budget/cost and timelines effectively.
  • Develop key client relationships and engage in business development in the area of digital forensic.
Requirements
  • A good Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, or related fields in Information Security.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in consulting/advisory work, specifically in areas of forensics advisory or law enforcement.
  • An adaptable and self-driven learner with high personal integrity and creative problem-solving abilities to quickly learn and apply new tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a natural curiosity to identify, investigate, and explain trends and patterns, and a strong attention to details.
  • Experience in independently managing large legal or investigation eDiscovery matters.
  • Understanding of the legal eDiscovery framework, including the relevant legal standards.
  • Significant experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity and Nuix (Ringtail).
  • Experience across the entire Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), including a strong understanding of eDiscovery concepts and the adoption and utilization of technology.
  • Understanding of digital forensic practices, including experience with Encase, Cellebrite, and other standard industry forensic tools.
  • Demonstrated legal project management experience and an ability to track and manage costs.
  • Certifications - Added advantage to have more than one of following certifications
  1. Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE)
  2. EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE)
  3. Nuix Workstation Data Discovery Certified Master
  4. Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA)
