Job summary

Job description
Job Purpose
  • Support Head (Kitchen) in 1 Institutional Kitchen in meals productions, ensuring timely delivery, food safety and quality standards.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the overall management of 1 Institutional Kitchen, ensuring service levels are being met.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of meals according to dietary requirements and food hygiene standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance of all relevant food and workplace safety regulations, including follow up on audit recommendations.
  • Co-manage a team of workers and vendors to ensure smooth running of operations.
  • Work with the team and various stakeholders to optimize workers’ productivity and morale.
  • Keep abreast of changes in the food industry, i.e. food safety management, SFA regulations, industry best practices.
  • Execute contingency plans when required.
  • Ensure compliance to risk measures from the risk management framework.

Requirements
Education
  • Diploma or professional qualifications in Food & Beverage or Manufacturing Operations.
Experience
  • Relevant working experience in a food establishment.
  • Candidate with institutional catering experience is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
