Senior Associate/Associate Operations (Kitchen) - 2 Years Contract

Support Head (Kitchen) in overseeing the operations of 1 Institutional Kitchen in meals productions, ensuring timely delivery, food safety and quality standards.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the overall management of 1 Institutional Kitchen, ensuring service levels are being met.

Oversee the preparation and distribution of meals according to dietary requirements and food hygiene standards.

Ensure strict compliance of all relevant food and workplace safety regulations, including follow up on audit recommendations.

Co-manage a team of workers and vendors to ensure smooth running of operations.

Work with the team and various stakeholders to optimize workers’ productivity and morale.

Keep abreast of changes in the food industry, i.e. food safety management, SFA regulations, industry best practices.

Execute contingency plans when required.

Ensure compliance to risk measures from the risk management framework.

Any Other Duties

Any other tasks or duties assigned by the Head, Kitchen

Requirements (Minimum education and experience profile required by the jobholder to perform the job).

Education

Diploma or professional qualifications in Food & Beverage or Manufacturing Operations.

Experience

Relevant working experience in a food establishment.

Candidate with institutional catering experience is preferred.
