Senior Associate / Associate, Central Ops Controllership (Corporate Account), Group Finance (WD80270)
Business Function

Group Finance aims to deliver world‑class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

Responsibilities

The team handles MIS reporting, budgeting, and analysis for the Corporate Account, linking these activities to business strategies. They also contribute to other strategic projects as prioritized, including duration extension initiatives, Group structural foreign currency exposure, capital issuances, and earnings hedges.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • MIS support of Group Corporate Account P&L and balance sheet, including Actuals, Forecast, Budget, ICAAP and IWST
  • Understand and analyze how MIS drivers and internal funding cost impact key Corporate Account strategies
  • Work closely with other finance teams to understand how new initiatives impact external and internal MIS accounting
  • Actively look to automate processes and drive system enhancements
  • Other strategic projects as prioritized
Requirements

The ideal candidate should be a self‑starter with intellectual curiosity, analytical and a keen eye for detail. The candidate should have sound knowledge in accounting, banking and treasury products with a drive to automate processes.

  • University degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, or an equivalent qualification in another discipline, with minimum 1‑2 years of relevant experience in banking industry.
  • Experience in Corporate Treasury support, ideally with exposure to product control or financial reporting, coupled with strong banking and treasury product knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with tools like Python, Celerity, or Tableau would be a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to summarize complex analysis and extract meaningful insights.
  • A key attribute is the ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and adapt well to change.
  • An independent, proactive, and meticulous team player who adopts a hands‑on approach.
