National University Health System seeks a clinical leader to drive engagement and adoption of health technologies across NUHS and NUHTA ventures. You will balance commercial viability with strategic aims and work with senior leaders to steer due diligence and portfolio growth.

You will guide startups from concept through sustainable commercialisation, supporting local and national ventures while remaining a practicing clinician for half a day weekly.

Qualifications

• Hold Singapore Medical Council registration; full registration preferred.

Objectives

• Be the main point of contact and support the CITD office in improving the clinical engagement and adoption of health technologies across various departments in but not limited to NUH, NUHS and including being the National University HealthTech Accelerator (NUHTA) Program Manager.
• Support the Deputy Director in balancing commercial viability with strategic considerations and work closely with the Group Director and CITD team as well as senior leaders across NUHS by providing strategy and due diligence support with the aim of commercialising impactful and viable health technologies developed by NUHS and externally.
• Support the NUHS HealthTech venture building ecosystem and guide portfolio companies to grow value and achieve higher returns on investment. Advise portfolio/cohort companies on strategy implementation, management selection and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Work towards improving the clinical engagement and adoption of health technologies in the clinical, financial, operational and administrative domains by streamlining processes and leveraging current groups and initiatives across NUHS.
• Provide support to the Deputy Director in identifying and originating local investment opportunities to achieve investment mandates, including supporting due diligence efforts.
• Play the role of a HealthTech venture builder by supporting the journey from conceptualisation through to successful and sustainable commercialisation of NUHS-born as well as Singapore-born ideas and startups.
• Remain a practicing clinician half a day per week [TO BE DETERMINED]

Requirements

• Hold Singapore Medical Council registration. Full registration will be viewed favourably.
• Able to demonstrate teamwork, respect, integrity, compassion, empathy and excellence in his/her work.
• Successful completion of an internationally renowned HealthTech Innovation Fellowship or equivalent.
• Excellent relationship management capabilities, communication and presentation skills.
• Team player with strong abilities to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to demonstrate good diagnostic and clinical management acumen.
