Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a qualified finance professional to manage financial statements, budgets, and claims submissions for research and clinical trials. The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Accountancy degree or equivalent, have knowledge of SAP, and be proficient in Excel. Responsibilities include preparing audit schedules and overseeing operational processes, all while collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and accuracy. This role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Recognised degree in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent with relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

You are primarily responsible for preparing and managing monthly financial statements, budgets, costings, and claims submissions for research and clinical trials. This includes extracting and collating supporting documentation for funding agencies, verifying and managing accounts receivable, posting journal entries, performing variance analysis, preparing audit schedules and overseeing operational processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will work closely with colleagues in research and clinical trials, finance shared services, procurement, external grantors/ auditors and IT teams to ensure seamless systems integration and audit compliance.

You are also expected to:

  • Support the team in SAP system enhancement, implementation and UAT.
  • Perform sundry eBilling requests.
  • Review quarterly GST preparation and submission.
  • Manage company insurance programmes.
  • Manage Education Grants to ensure participants spend within budget and provide other administrative support.

Job Requirements:

  • Recognised degree in Accountancy/ ACCA or equivalent with relevant working experience
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical skills and willingness to embrace artificial intelligent tools
  • Service-oriented team player able to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
