Job description

As Senior Assistant/Manager in the Joint Office of Academic Medicine (JOAM), you will support the department in the strategic development of initiatives and programmes for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medicine (AM) and the Academic Clinical Programmes (ACPs).

Your responsibilities will include assisting in tracking and reporting performance metrics for ACPs, developing annual department workplans, and supporting strategies to strengthen collaboration for research and education initiatives. You will also work with the Assistant Director to organise strategic platforms, including international advisory council meetings and senior leaders' forums, to facilitate robust and effective conversations that advance AM.

Additional duties include secretariat responsibilities at senior management meetings and reviewing and documenting processes to enhance effectiveness and business continuity.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Administration with at least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Background in healthcare, education or research sectors or strategic/corporate planning is advantageous
  • Good understanding of performance measurement tools (e.g. Balanced Scorecard)
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Team player and a strong collaborator
  • Independent worker and possess initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and Power BI
