Job description
Senior / Assistant Manager, Crisis Planning & Operations (Diseases Outbreak)

You will support the development of operational responses for pandemic response. You are responsible for assisting the Manager (CPO) with the implementation and coordination of various aspects of the pandemic response plan. This includes development and implementation of hospital-wide protocols and guidelines, facilitating training and education initiatives, planning for, and conducting regular exercises to validate the response plans, and providing administrative support.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the Manager (CPO) to implement and coordinate DO trainings and exercises and to ensure that the hospital:
  • Attains at least SOR 2 for Ex Sparrowhawk I & II, and 3PL Ex, and;
  • Performs CGHOC reporting of suspect cases and management of confirmed cases
  • Coordinate the submission of routine / ad-hoc reports / returns to MOH for EPPF KPIs under individual, sub-systems and system level training and exercises
  • Monitor training requirements by MOH under DO Framework
  • Prepare and monitor training budget to meet the training requirement by MOH under DO Framework
  • Assist the Manager in managing equipment funded by MOH under the EPPF for DO
  • Provide secretariat support to various hospital meetings, including coordinating regular meetings with committee members, agenda and slides preparation, minutes taking, and papers dissemination
  • Support the establishment of a cooperative platform with healthcare response agencies that lead emergency responses to Disease Outbreak situations
  • Support the operations of the CGH Operations Centre (CGHOC) during peacetime in the areas of surveillance of hospital operations, incident reporting and management, and collation of data for effective resource management
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Management, Administration or any relevant discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare or social service-related industry
  • Prior experience in disease outbreak or emergency planning in an acute health care setting is preferred
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
