Job summary

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of marine facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance facility reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Lead technical assessments and troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex facility issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental standards, and industry regulations pertinent to marine facilities.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, maintenance records, and project documentation.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, safety, and engineering departments to optimize facility performance.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within marine or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to lead and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient communication skills to liaise with technical teams and external partners.
  • Willingness to work on-site at the Marine facility and respond to operational needs promptly.

  • Location: Gul (Island-wide transport provided)
  • 5 days work week
  • Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
