Job summary
A manufacturing multinational corporation in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to mentor engineers and lead NPI and process development activities. Qualifications

- Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100 standards.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop engineers in laser/fiber assembly processes.
- Lead NPI, process development, and product transfer activities.
- Manage projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee RFQ closure and customer escalations.
- Collaborate with design teams on DFM and product designs.
- Implement process controls and continuous improvements.
- Promote laser safety and cleanroom compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
- Mentor and develop engineers in laser/fiber assembly processes.

- Oversee RFQ closure, FAT/FLP/FAI readiness, and customer escalations.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure DFM and robust product designs.
- Implement process controls, problem‑solving (SPC, DOE, 8D), and continuous improvements.
- Promote and enforce laser safety and cleanroom compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 7 years’ experience in optical, laser, or fiber manufacturing.
- Proven leadership in process development, NPI, and cleanroom protocols.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ERP (SAP).
- Knowledge in Six Sigma, Lean principles, and laser safety requirements.
- Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100 standards.
