Job summary

Singapore-based role for an experienced AS400 COBOL Developer to design, develop, and configure software modules in banking and payments. The role requires working with AS400, COBOL, SQL, and DB2, and collaborating with clients to deliver quality solutions on time.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of AS400 COBOL experience, a degree in CS/IT, and familiarity with JIRA and ALDON tools. Strong communication across levels is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 - 8 years of AS400 COBOL development experience.
• Experience in the banking domain, particularly within payments.
• Working knowledge of AS400, COBOL, SQL, and DB2 database.
• Awareness of JIRA and ALDON tools.
• Involvement in the complete software delivery lifecycle, including maintenance of AS400 applications.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at different levels and with a diverse population.
• Experience working closely with clients to provide required services.
