Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks an experienced professional to coordinate with clients and subcontractors for project compliance in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, preferably with condominiums. This role involves reviewing plans, overseeing subcontractors, and ensuring the quality of work at the project site office in Pasir Ris.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction/civil engineering.
  • Experience in condominiums is a plus.

Job Description:
  • Coordination with Client, Consultant, System-Wide Contractors, and with Arch Sub-Contractors to assure compliance with design intent, specifications, and regulations as per the project's requirements.
  • Review and Interpret Plans, Provide Schedules, Review Subcontractor Shop drawings and Method Statements before submission, Submit Architectural Materials for Approval, and Provide Progress reports to the Client. Submit mock-up samples of all Architectural Items as required by the Client.
  • Comprehend Architectural details, Material specifications, Methods of Installation, and delivery Procedure. Arrange a working session before any installation of Architectural works, as needed for Interfacing, be updated on the design improvement set by the consultant and various Government agencies
  • Oversee Various Architectural Subcontractors' Works and their work scope, Highlight Interfacing with Various SWC, and ensure compliance with the Material and Works specification.
  • Maintain and update records of meetings, site discussions, and working sessions.
  • Draft in-house shop drawings for CCCC Scope works, i.e., Tile setting out, Wet Trades finishes.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Architecture from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction/ civil engineering industry.
  • Having experience in condominiums would be an advantage.
  • To be based at the project site office.
  • 6 Working Days per week.
  • Working Location: Pasir Ris
