Job summary

Optimum Solutions Pte Ltd invites application for a security-focused role overseeing risk assessments, threat modelling, and incident management across software, cloud, and infrastructure. The candidate will review architectures, data flows, and security controls, ensuring remediation of identified risks and timely closure of vulnerabilities.

Requires 5 years in software development, application security, and cloud computing, with strong knowledge of REST/SOAP and OWASP standards.

Qualifications

Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 years of combined experience in software development, application security and cloud computing (e.g. AWS).
Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, SSL/TLS and application security principles (OWASP Top 10/ASVS).

Responsibilities

Review system architecture, data flows, interfaces, APIs, entry points and security controls to identify security risks.
Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments for new and existing IT systems, applications, infrastructure and cloud services.
Perform threat modelling and develop threat profiles for projects to identify, quantify and remediate risks.
Review remediation plans and evidence to verify addressed risks.
Track security vulnerabilities and ensure timely remediation and closure.
