We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Applications Engineer specializing in Diesel Power Generators to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our diesel-powered systems through rigorous testing, validation, and collaboration with the development team. This role plays a vital part in product development — from early design evaluation to final quality assurance — to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of performance and durability.

1. Quality Control and Testing
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans for diesel power generators, ensuring compliance with design and performance specifications.
  • Conduct and oversee product testing, including performance, reliability, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Identify, document, and report defects or issues discovered during the testing process.
2. Collaboration with Development Team
  • Work closely with engineers and designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to generator design and performance.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to cross-functional teams to improve product quality and resolve defects.
3. Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of all test results, defect logs, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed test reports highlighting issues, solutions, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Product Development Support
  • Assist in the development of new diesel power generator models by providing input on design improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all products are thoroughly tested according to quality standards prior to manufacturing or customer deployment.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine operations, performance metrics, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, executing tests, and diagnosing technical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for power generation systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
