Job summary

Upper Spring Consulting Pte Ltd is representing a client in the marine sector seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer. The role focuses on system development and maintenance driven by product requirements and team guidance.

Responsibilities include translating business needs into features, coding to high standards, and contributing to testing and documentation. This position requires strong .NET experience and modern UI expertise, with Azure and Git tooling in use.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or information systems.
• 5+ years hands-on web app development experience; .NET preferred.
• 2+ years in modern UI frameworks (Vue.js, Angular or React).
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, etc.).
• Experience in Agile Scrum project development.
• Experience in Azure and Git SCM.
• Knowledge of parallel programming, optimization, and microservices is a plus.

We are representing our client in the marine sector to look an experienced Senior Application Developer. The person is responsible forsystem development and maintenance based on product requirements, current system design and instructions given by the team lead.

Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and translate application features.
• Write high-quality source code and comply with best practices to meet project deadlines.
• Develop product features and continuous improvement.
• Debug and troubleshoot applications.
• Perform and/or assist functional and non-functional testing before release.
• Develop and maintain technical documents and handbooks.

Requirements:

• Degree in the field of computer science, information system.
• Minimum 5 years active hands-on experience in web based application development, preferably using .Net frameworks, and 2 years in dept knowledge and experience in modern UI Framework such as Vue.js, Angular or React.
• Experience working with message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS etc.)
• Experience in project development with Agile Scrum Methodology.
• Experience in Azure and applying source control management with Git.
• Knowledge of Parallel Programming, optimization, and Microservice will be an added advantage.
