Job summary

Wise is seeking a Senior Product Operations Specialist for APAC Payments in Singapore. You will own a meaningful portion of the APAC portfolio, work closely with Product, Engineering, and Regional Operations, and drive initiatives from discovery to adoption.

You will write SQL, analyze data, investigate root causes, and deliver scalable solutions with measurable impact. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic influence across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SQL writing with multi-table joins and CTEs.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering to shape requirements and influence roadmap.
• Strong data analysis skills with ability to validate data-driven decisions.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives end-to-end including discovery and delivery.
• Ability to translate complex operational/technical details into clear business cases.

Responsibilities

• Own direction and outcomes for assigned APAC portfolio aligned with regional priorities.
• Identify and prioritise customer, payment-performance and operational issues; size impact and propose interventions.
• Shape roadmaps and technical solutions with Product and Engineering, balancing impact, scalability and value.
• Build business cases and recommendations to secure senior stakeholder support and investment.
• Lead complex, cross-functional launches such as new markets, direct integrations and payment-system changes.
• Identify and test automation and AI opportunities with validation and governance.
• Develop reusable approaches and mentor junior team members to broaden ownership.
