Job summary

Grab is seeking an experienced Android software engineer to identify fraud gaps, develop product solutions, and collaborate across product, business, and programme management. You will maintain anti-abuse capabilities, review code and designs, and stay ahead with the latest Android and fraud tooling.

The role emphasizes building with the Android SDK, Java/Kotlin/C++, and strong CI/CD practices, while partnering with backend and SRE teams on observable services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Ability to document technical details for cross-team audiences.
• Make architectural tradeoffs to deliver software rapidly in production environments.
• Lead large scale internet and mobile application development.

Responsibilities

• Identify fraud, abuse, and risk gaps on Android and turn them into product solutions.
• Collaborate with product, business, and programme management to hit deliverables.
• Join technical and product reviews while maintaining existing anti-abuse products.
• Research latest Android and fraud tooling to keep mobile products current.
• Ship high quality, maintainable code with strong operational excellence.
• Complete assigned code reviews and design reviews on schedule.
• Partner with backend and SRE engineers on observable, high-impact services.
