Job summary

Foodpanda Singapore is seeking a senior mobile software engineer to own design and delivery across the full SDLC. You will code in Kotlin, mentor teammates, and drive architectural decisions that scale to millions of active users. You will collaborate closely with Product Management to maximize customer value and maintain high standards.

The role requires strong English communication, extensive mobile development experience, and hands-on CI/CD expertise to enable fast, reliable releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or practical experience.
• Minimum of 8-9 years of experience in mobile software development.
• Strong command of English with the ability to clearly articulate work scope.
• Hands-on experience coding in Kotlin.
• Experience with high-performance testing.
• Proficient in architecture and design patterns (e.g., SOLID, MVVM/Clean Architecture).
• Understanding of scalability challenges and building high-performance apps handling thousands to millions of users.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for deployment and release.
• Full SDLC experience including development, design, testing, deployment, and release.
• Experience in mentoring or managing a team is an advantage.
