Job summary

GMP Recruitment Services (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Android developer to build and maintain production-grade apps using Kotlin/Java in Singapore. You will integrate AI-powered features including LLM chat, vision, and speech through APIs, and ensure robust streaming, retries, and graceful degradation.

Candidates should show strong experience with Coroutines/Flow, REST/GRPC, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• Experience building Android apps in production
• Experience integrating AI/ML features (LLM, vision, speech)
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production Android applications using Kotlin/Java
• Integrate AI-powered features via APIs (LLM chat, vision, voice, recommendations)
• Implement reliable AI interaction flows with streaming, retries, partial results and error handling
• Optimize performance, memory usage, CPU efficiency and responsiveness
• Implement monitoring, analytics, logging, and feedback to resolve production issues
