Job summary

A healthcare facility in Singapore seeks to hire a Medical Informatics Analyst. Responsibilities include supporting the design and implementation of the Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) system, providing user training, and extending on-site support. Ideal candidates are self-motivated individuals with a background in clinical information systems and IT project management, with at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical information systems and IT project management is preferred.
  • Candidates with 2+ years relevant experience may be considered for a senior post.
  • Certification in Epic Electronic Medical Record system application is an advantage.

Overview

Join our Medical Informatics Office where you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and support of the Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) system. Your responsibilities will include supporting the leads of your assigned workgroups in the following areas:

Responsibilities
  • Conducting requirements analysis, completing content build , and performing functional testing of the system
  • Providing user training and coordinating with appointed IT projects/systems teams to build and implement solutions that meet user requirements for clinical orders, medication administration, and documentation
  • Performing secretariat work for your assigned workgroups, including coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and tracking issues and training statuses throughout the project cycle
  • Extending on-site user support during implementation and taking on-call responsibilities for system application support at scheduled times to troubleshoot and track issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
  • Experience in clinical information systems, IT project management and experience in healthcare environment is preferred
  • Candidates with 2 or more years of relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Analyst post
  • Certification in Epic Electronic Medical Record system application is an advantage
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
