Job description
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

1. Development Analysis and Reporting

With direction from the SVP, you will work with colleagues, industry contacts and competitors to assist in analysing Hilton’s development strategy. Given Singapore is the hub of the APAC Development Team, there is a wider corporate dimension to strategy and reporting as it feeds into the wider enterprise of Hilton Worldwide.

Analysis, reporting and presentations include:

  • The Hilton team’s and the competitive markets activity
  • APAC and Global business reviews
  • Investment Committee reporting and submission oversight
  • Ad hoc papers (portfolio optimisation, branded residences, lifestyle brands, etc.)
2. Proposal and Presentation Creation and Compilation

You will be responsible for the creation of a variety of proposals and presentations targeting a broad range of internal and external audiences.

3. Renewal and Retention Functional Reporting and Analysis

As a member of the Renewal and Retention team, you will play a key role in monitoring trends with particular focus on:

  • Risks in the industry and in the Hilton trading estate
  • Engagement with the APAC Asset Management Committee meetings
  • Undertaking due diligence on key partners as and when required
4. Marketing

Working with the Brand and B2B Marketing teams, you will be actively engaged in the conceptualisation, design and production of a wide variety of Development Marketing aids and collateral.

5. Deal Authorities (DA)

Assist in the preparation and production of Deal Authority papers in strict accordance with the deal approval policy.

6. Deal Engagement Calls

Facilitate and organise monthly deal engagement calls liaising with regional heads of Development to create the meeting agenda and follow up items.

7. Point of Contact for Development Systems (O2NUG / Salesforce, Tableau, Official Reporting)

Know the systems and how development data is recorded to ensure accurate reporting.

  • Train new team members / provide ad hoc assistance to team members
  • Troubleshooting with US Development Analytics team
8. Portfolio of Brands

You will maintain up to date knowledge of the Brand portfolio and product initiatives to assist the Development team to optimally position the Brands in the marketplace.

9. Record and Retention

Maintain up to date development repository such as enterprise pitch materials, internal reports, and industry reports.

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • University Degree in Finance, Commerce, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related discipline
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a non-routine, fluid, and at times chaotic environment, whilst making sure the work is delivered to the highest professional standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to use these across different management levels
  • Ability to manage a range of competing priorities and demands
  • Willingness to travel for work purposes within the APAC region on occasion
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools
