Job summary

Singlife is seeking a data analytics professional in Singapore to join our data and insights team. You will leverage SQL and Python to extract campaign leads, build data pipelines, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

You will collaborate with data scientists and cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analysis, create visualizations with Qlik/Excel, and automate recurring workflows.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in data analytics or related field.
• Strong SQL proficiency; Python knowledge preferred.
• Experience with data platforms (Snowflake/BigQuery) is a plus.
• Ability to build automated data pipelines and visualize results.
• Excellent communication and storytelling with data.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive campaign execution end-to-end, from pre-sizing of campaign bases to extraction of campaign leads to post-campaign results analysis.
• Write and run SQL queries for purposes of campaign executions and generating in-depth insights.
• Drive data projects end-to-end, presenting results to key stakeholders and senior management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists and cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and synthesize requirements.
• Generate insights and in-depth analysis from data and present findings to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and automate workflows for recurring campaign extractions and other purposes.
• Create impactful insightful data visualizations to communicate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance.
• Document methodologies, procedures, and findings in a clear and concise manner to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain accurate records.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of data modeling fundamentals and contribute to the design and development of enterprise data models where applicable.
• Identify and resolve any data quality issues or data gaps that might hinder analysis.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and apply statistical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in large and complex datasets.
• Support or contribute to machine learning / advanced analytics use cases where applicable.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data analytics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL is mandatory and working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or scripting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with data platforms (e.g., cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar) is a plus.
• Experience building automated workflows, pipelines, or reusable data assets is an advantage
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration / automation tools (e.g., Airflow) is advantageous
• Experience in using GenAI tools or AI agents for coding purposes or data analysis is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (preferably Qlik).
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex results into understandable and actionable insights.
• Previous industry experience in life insurance is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
