Job summary

LMA Recruitment Singapore Pte. Ltd. partners with a leading financial services organisation in Singapore to hire an experienced AML/Compliance professional for its second-line function.

This hands-on Team Lead role manages 2 direct reports and stays closely involved in AML/CTF monitoring, investigations, regulatory change and compliance enhancements. You will lead the second-line monitoring program, review policies, provide oversight to first-line activities, and drive improvements across AML

Qualifications

• More than 6 years of AML/Compliance experience within financial services.
• Strong exposure to AML/CTF monitoring, compliance testing, investigations or second-line oversight.
• Comfortable providing challenge to business and operational stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead a small team while remaining hands-on technically.
• AML/Compliance professional qualifications would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the second-line AML/CTF monitoring and assessment programme.
• Review and strengthen AML/CTF policies, procedures and controls.
• Provide oversight and challenge to first-line monitoring and investigation activities.
• Review suspicious activity cases and ensure escalation to the MLRO and management.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate requirements into practical business enhancements.
• Analyse AML data and identify control gaps, trends and emerging risks.
• Drive improvements across AML processes, systems, reporting and automation.
• Support AML/CTF investigations, remediation initiatives and compliance projects.
• Manage and develop 2 direct reports, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Support AML/CTF awareness and refresher training across the business.
