Job summary

St. James's Place – Asia & Middle East is seeking an investment professional with 3–5 years of experience to broaden multi-asset knowledge and accelerate development in a dynamic, international environment.

You will contribute to portfolio analysis, manager due diligence and the PMO governance framework while collaborating with senior decision-makers across the AME region. This role offers exposure to regional investment governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment research, fund due diligence, manager selection or investment consulting.
• Experience preparing investment presentations, portfolio reviews or client-facing materials.
• Experience with investment performance, risk and attribution concepts.
• Experience working with large datasets and applying technology to investment processes.
• Familiarity with investment performance, risk and attribution concepts.
• Experience using Bloomberg, Morningstar, FE Analytics or similar tools.
• Ability to analyse financial and market data and draw investment conclusions.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Advantageous: Python, VBA, Power BI for automation.
• Progress towards CFA Level II; aims to complete qualification.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to fund research and manager due diligence processes.
• Maintain the AME investment fund whitelist (buy-list).
• Coordinate periodic whitelist reviews and governance docs.
• Lead investment analysis supporting partner enquiries.
• Develop relationships with external fund managers and research providers.
• Monitor macroeconomic and market developments and assess implications.
• Develop and enhance investment research processes.
