Job summary

Cognizant Consulting is seeking an Assistant Director, AI Builder in Singapore. You will lead defined AI strategy, transformation and solution-shaping engagements, translating executive priorities into actionable roadmaps, use cases and investment cases.

You will manage workstreams, coach teams, and scale repeatable offerings across APJ. You will drive governance, ROI modelling, and adoption plans while collaborating across clients, account teams and ecosystem partners to deliver outcomes and

Qualifications

Typically 12–16 years of experience in consulting, business transformation, technology strategy or digital transformation with AI advisory/implementation background.
Ability to lead client workstreams, facilitate senior stakeholder workshops and translate AI topics into practical recommendations.
Strong knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, context engineering, governance, and enterprise data.

Responsibilities

Lead client and executive engagement: run discovery sessions, executive briefings and AI strategy workshops; build trusted relationships with business and technology leaders.
Develop AI strategy and roadmaps: assess maturity, identify value pools, prioritize use cases, and shape governance and adoption plans.
Create business cases and value: build ROI models and value-realisation measures across productivity, cost, growth, service quality and customer experience.
Shape solutions and support commercial efforts: guide cross-functional inputs, contribute to proposals, support PoCs and outcome-based models.
Provide delivery leadership: oversee small teams, manage risks and expectations, and deliver executive-ready artefacts and narratives.
Grow capability: develop industry use-case narratives, contribute to thought leadership, coach junior members and support pipeline growth.
