Job summary
January Capital in Singapore seeks a Senior Investor to help lead investments in software and AI across Asia-Pacific. You will develop independent views on technology trends, build strong founder relationships, and lead investments from pre-seed to pre-Series A while taking significant ownership.
You will evaluate opportunities, develop theses, conduct technical and commercial diligence, participate in Investment Committee decisions, and work with portfolio companies post-investment to support
Qualifications
- 7+ years in venture investing, company building, software engineering, AI/ML or tech leadership.
- Strong technical foundation in CS/AI/DS or engineering.
- Ability to originate opportunities and form independent conviction.
Responsibilities
- Lead investments end-to-end from first meeting to execution.
- Develop differentiated theses in AI, developer tooling, and software infrastructure.
- Engage with founders and build relationships across APAC, SE Asia, Australia and US.
