Job summary

Keysight is seeking a Senior AI Software Development Engineer to build agentic AI capabilities that connect large language models, EDA apps, and simulation engines to automate design‑analysis tasks.

You will design MCP-enabled infrastructure, translate EDA use cases into AI features, and develop backend services in Python with a focus on reliability and secure deployment.

Collaborate across multi-site teams and mentor engineers to accelerate AI in production engineering software.

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering for production-grade services.
• Experience with AI-agent or copilot-style solutions using LLMs and tool calls.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and deployment patterns.
• Experience with AI/ML concepts like embeddings, vector databases, and surrogate models.
• Solid software practices: Agile, CI/CD, testing, and security reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build MCP-enabled agent infrastructure (servers, clients, skills, schemas).
• Translate EDA workflows into AI-agent capabilities (simulation setup, diagnostics, reports).
• Apply neural-network techniques for acceleration of simulations and design-space exploration.
• Develop backend services in Python with reliability, observability, and secure deployment.
