Job summary

PeopleSearch Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled AI Platform Engineer to build and scale reusable AI services, APIs, and SDKs for enterprise use. The role focuses on designing a secure, high-performance AI infrastructure that accelerates cross-functional teams.

You will lead the architecture of LLM endpoints, vector databases, and knowledge retrieval, while ensuring production-readiness and robust monitoring. A strong Python background and cloud-native experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Hands-on software engineering, backend or platform engineering experience.
• Advanced Python with scalable APIs and cloud automation.
• Deep understanding of AI stack: LLM orchestration, agent loops, vector DBs.
• Knowledge of cloud-native platforms, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with secure coding and governance in pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain core pillars of the AI platform (LLM endpoints, agent runtimes, vector databases, model routers).
• Develop reusable APIs, SDKs, and implementation patterns for teams.
• Ensure platform components are production-ready, highly available, and scalable with monitoring and optimization.
• Drive continuous engineering improvements and promote shared platform patterns across teams.
• Partner with security/governance to embed guardrails and secure delivery in the platform code.

About the Job

We are looking fora highly skilled and hands-on AI Platform Engineer to serve as a core builder of our enterprise-wide AI infrastructure. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the design, development, and scaling of reusable AI services, APIs, and SDKs. Your work will directly empower cross-functional engineering teams to accelerate the delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions in a secure, standardized, and highly performant environment.

What You'll Do

• Architect, build, and maintain the core technical pillars of the AI platform, including LLM endpoints, agent runtimes, vector databases, model routers, and knowledge retrieval services.
• Develop reusable APIs, SDKs, and implementation patterns that reduce duplication and provide a seamless, self-serve experience for teams building AI applications.
• Ensure all AI platform components are production-ready, highly available, and scalable by implementing robust operational monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Drive continuous engineering improvements and guide teams across the organization to adopt proven architectural patterns and shared platform capabilities.
• Partner closely with security and governance functions to embed safety guardrails, compliance, and secure delivery practices directly into the platform's foundational code.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven hands-on experience in software engineering, backend development, or platform engineering, with a strong focus on building shared enterprise services.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, with a strong track record of building scalable APIs, backend services, and cloud automation scripts.
• Deep technical understanding of the modern AI stack, including LLM orchestration, agent loops, context/memory management, and vector databases.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native platforms, microservices architecture, and system integration patterns.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices, enterprise engineering standards, and implementing governance frameworks within technical pipelines.
