Job summary

Ailytics is hiring a lead engineer to own the production computer vision systems and real-time inference at scale. You will design and own the codebase, and drive architectural decisions across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You will work with the CTO, product managers and senior engineers to deliver scalable, accurate vision solutions, while mentoring the team and owning end-to-end delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python as a primary working language.
• Strong hands-on experience with PyTorch.
• Solid production experience with DeepStream and GStreamer for real-time pipelines.
• Confident with OpenCV and image processing tooling.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and software engineering.
• Experience building high-throughput data ingestion pipelines or production CV pipelines.
• 4+ years building and deploying AI or computer vision systems in production.
• Leadership and ownership experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the computer vision codebase, architecture and direction.
• Build scalable, optimised real-time CV pipelines across on‑premises and cloud.
• Scale to thousands of cameras with concurrency and throughput in mind.
• Serve heavy models in real time with optimized inference.
• Build high-throughput data ingestion with reliable data movement.
• Benchmark and improve model performance in production.
• Debug production issues such as pipeline stalls and memory leaks.
• Automate deployment, testing and diagnosis tooling.
• Lead the team, mentor engineers and align with CTO and senior management.
