Job summary

TENTEN Partners in Singapore is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build production-grade AI systems at scale, combining deep AI/ML expertise with robust software engineering.

You will lead the design and implementation of autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration, and ML pipelines, ensuring reliability, scalability and operational readiness across enterprise environments. Strong focus on production readiness and collaboration with data scientists and platform engineers.

What you’ll be doing

Develop the next generation of Agentic AI

• Design and develop autonomous AI agents and multi-agent systems with reasoning, planning, tool use and memory.

• Explore and implement agent orchestration patterns, LLM-powered applications and advanced AI techniques.

• Develop and optimise machine learning models and pipelines across training, evaluation and inference.

• Translate emerging AI research into practical, scalable solutions.

Engineer AI for production at scale

• Architect and develop robust microservices and distributed systems to support enterprise AI applications.

• Develop production-grade services and APIs using Python, Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot.

• Build event-driven architectures and integrations using technologies such as Kafka.

• Achieve reliability, performance, scalability and fault tolerance across AI services.

• Implement MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to streamline model deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.

Provide technical leadership

• Head technical design discussions and influence architectural decisions.

• Work closely with data scientists, product teams and platform engineers to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.

• Mentor engineers and promote high standards in software development, testing and code quality.

• Champion engineering best practices and identify opportunities to improve how AI solutions are built and deployed.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.

• 5+ years of hands-on microservices engineering and architecture experience.

• Demonstrable programming skills Python and Java, ideally combining AI development with enterprise-grade software engineering.

• Practical experience building agentic AI systems, including tool calling, planning, reasoning and multi-step execution.

• Working knowledge of learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, alongside the wider Python ML ecosystem.

• Experience with MLOps, model deployment, monitoring and production lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.

• Experience using distributed systems, event-driven architectures, APIs, containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• A demonstrable track record complex technical solutions from concept through to production.

Experience that will make you stand out

We’re particularly interested in engineers who have hands-on experience with:

• Agentic AI frameworks and orchestration patterns, including LangChain or AutoGen.

• Large language models (LLMs), transformer architectures and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

• Advanced model optimisation, fine-tuning and PEFT techniques, including LoRA and QLoRA.

• Distributed model training using technologies such as Ray, DeepSpeed, FSDP or PyTorch Distributed.

• Vector databases, MLflow, Kubeflow and continuous feedback loops for model improvement.

A postgraduate degree, research contributions or open-source involvement in AI/ML would be advantageous, but demonstrable engineering capability and experience delivering AI into production matter most.
